How to craft a door in Minecraft

To craft a door in Minecraft, you will need two things: a Crafting Table and the required materials. Creating a door requires using a crafting table, as you must use ingredients in two columns of three. As for the materials for crafting a door, you can use any of the below materials.

  • Six blocks of Oak Wood Planks

Doors made from Iron Ingots function differently and require a pressure plate of a switch to activate. All other doors can simply be interacted with to open. When placing a door, it will be on the edge of the block closest to where you are standing. You can also place two doors side-by-side to create a double door.
