Where do sniffer eggs spawn in Minecraft?

Players can find sniffer eggs spawning exclusively inside suspicious sand. Suspicious sand is a unique block that can only generate in a few places. The first is desert pyramids and desert wells, with warm ocean ruins falling close behind. Inside these locations, you can find sand that appears different from regular sand blocks. For example, the following is a side-by-side comparison of suspicious sand and your typical sand block.

Notice that the sand marked with a red box has darker textures and lines, while the regular block appears more transparent. You can use this stark difference in appearance to help you pick out suspicious sand when searching these locations. But to get sniffer eggs from suspicious sand, you need to craft a brush in Minecraft to reveal items inside the suspicious block. Once you have a brush, use it on the suspicious sand block to reveal the hidden item.

Remember, sniffer eggs are not the only items that can appear in suspicious sand, so you may need to search multiple locations. • Deep lukewarm oceans.
