MultiVersus joins EVO 2022 with 100K Prize Pool 2v2 Tournament

Do you have what it takes to win?

Warner Bros' upcoming platformer fighter MultiVersus will be joining the EVO 2022 roster. Players can compete in a 2v2 Tournament with a prize pool of $100,000. A closed alpha is available to sign up for players to get some in-game practice ahead of the event.

This news was announced via the official MultiVersus Twitter. It states, in part, "MultiVersus is headed to @EVO with a 2v2 tournament hosted by @wbgames awarding the top 32 teams!" Go to the MultiVersus alpha and sign-up for your chance to enter.

Accompanying this announcement was a gameplay video showcasing two of the MultiVersus developers facing off against two pro-fighting gamers in a 2v2 MultiVersus match. Here, you can see a match between Superman and Shaggy vs Wonder Woman and Tom and Jerry in heated battle.

The alpha for MultiVersus will run from May 19 to May 27, coming a few months before EVO 2022. If you are interested in participating or watching, be sure to follow the MultiVersus Twitter handle for more information and updates.
