Best Center builds in NBA 2K22

While there might be other flashy positions that garner more numbers and attention, Centers have just as much ability to break a game wide open on offense and defense. Here are three builds that can bring some more respect to the big men in the middle.

Paint Beast 1

As the title suggests, you will spend most of your time in the middle of your offense and defense, but you will be a solid anchor on both ends. While it might be enticing to use post moves with a Center, your base ability of Slashing Glass will provide you a stronger skill set to threaten while driving and finishing at the net.

When you don't have the ball, you will be a tremendous asset to any team down low on offense and defense using your Cleaning ability. Just park under the net, box out, and gobble up those rebounds. On defense, this will eliminate any second chance opportunities and allow you more fast-break opportunities in transition. On offense, you will generate second chances for you and your teammates to drain more points.

Glass Cleaning Finisher

As a Glass Cleaning Finisher, your skill points would be most effectively utilized while on offense, allowing you to confuse defenses with a blend of accurate mid-range jumpers and strong finishes at the net using your Slashing and Sharpshooting abilities.

Despite having the most strength in scoring, this build will also have a decent base skill-set to defend the rim and excel in rebounding on defense. It may not seem like it at the start, but a high-level Glass Cleaning Finisher will be a versatile weapon on both sides of the ball that can swing the tide of any game.

Stretch Glass Cleaner

This is a well-balanced build that can become especially threatening on both sides of the ball at high levels. You will be among the league's best as an elite rebounder, use this for second chance finishes or dishing to your teammates for outside opportunities on offense. Defensively, those rebounding skills will anchor your team in the middle and lockdown many opportunities in the paint.

With this build, post moves will only get you so far. Spend time upgrading your shooting to build on your Sharpshooting ability, and you'll be able to take the defense from surprise when you pull up from mid-to-deep range consistently. This will make you a rare weapon that can threaten from most places on the court at any time when combined with your defensive capabilities.
