Best Power Forward Builds in NBA 2K22

With all of the 2K archetypes and each of their builds, choosing one best suited for you can be tough. While we won't be breaking down all of your options at Power Forward, here are 3 of the best builds at the position that could suit offensive and defensive-minded players.

Glass Cleaning Lockdown

While it may not be as flashy as a sharpshooter hitting threes from outside, this build provides high ceilings in both offensive and defensive zones. Your primary base ability, Glass Cleaning, will provide the foundation for you to become one of the league's best rebounders. You will thrive beneath the rim; on offense, you will have many second-chance opportunities to finish and post decent scoring numbers. 

On defense, you will be a force to be reckoned with. Your Defending base ability will cause havoc for anybody driving to the net. You'll generate blocks and rebounds and will be able to feed your offense on fastbreaks.

Stretch Glass Cleaner

Another build that will thrive from generating rebounds on offense and defense with their Glass Cleaning ability. What makes this different is their primary Post Scoring ability, making them a considerable threat on offense. Use the practice modes to learn some post moves; you will spend a lot of time backing down defenders in the paint and scoring down low after eating up offensive rebounds. 

This build won't be as dominant on defense, but your skills as a rebounder will give you an edge. Post up under the rim and feed your offense after collecting shot rebounds.

2-Way 3-Level Scorer

The most well-balanced and effective build on both sides of the ball. Your base skills as a two-way player will afford you decent capabilities in the defensive end, but don't expect to dominate. You will find the most opportunities as a staple in the offense with your base abilities of Playmaking and Slashing. As a playmaker, you will find yourself among the elite in passing, able to get assists in droves with pin-point dishes to your guys on the outside or those driving at the net. 

Your slashing abilities will make you an effective weapon on offense. This build will develop elite finishing skills, so don't be afraid to drive the net. When you're truly in a groove, you'll be able to confuse defenses with a blend of consistent finishing and accurate passing when working in tandem with your playmaking skills.
