New World features an expansive map. The island of Aeternum is divided into 14 different territories. Each of these territories has its unique ecosystem just waiting to be explored. These territories feature animals to hunt, plants to harvest, monsters to fight, and both wild landscapes and bustling cities to explore.

You can only find certain materials and animals in specific territories. In these territories, you can find different areas that make them up. Knowing the names of these areas will be helpful when traveling or looking for specific items and animals.
There are various things to do in each territory. These include capturing forts and outposts, battling world bosses, or just having a relaxing campfire. So if you want to fully experience everything New World has to offer, you will need to explore the island of Aeternum.
