In Nier Replicant, there are many items you can sell, but it is not clear what items are safe to sell, so here's a list to give you a general idea of what you can and should sell.
What can you sell in Nier Replicant?
If you are wondering what items are safe to sell, for the most part, the general rule is that book drops from shades are ok to sell, as none of their items seem to have a clear use beyond just selling for extra cash.
Along with this, you can also farm various other creatures such as spiders, turtles, and bats and sell their drops with no problem. But as a rule of thumb, try to save one or two of each item as you never know it might be needed for a quest later. That said, here's a complete list of items we come across that are ok to sell.
- Coloring Books
- School Books
- Dictionaries
- Spider Drops
- Boar Parts
- Leather boots
- Bat Drops
- Sea Turtle Eggs
You can also find various other items in the world such as Mutton and Vension that be sold safely, and you can also get mutton real easy by going out to the northern plains.
However, the best so far would be the various farm crops you can loot, as you can farm them to make a ton of gold fast. But to farm crops you will need fertilizer and seeds, luckily in every major town including your village, there will be someone selling both items.
You will also need to water them, but beyond that farming, crops is a very low effort but an easy and fast way to make gold fast. However, you will need the following crops for a side quest, so be sure to save a few when you can.
- Watermelons
- Melons
- Wheat
Try and save one Melon and Watermelon for a quest, and 20 Wheat, these are needed for quests.
