It is very important to manage your resources well, or else you will become overburdened. The best way to increase storage in Nightingale is backpack upgrades. This guide will show you how to increase your carrying capacity.
How to increase storage in Nightingale
You can increase your storage space in Nightingale by crafting and upgrading your backpack using a crafting menu, resources, and structures. Nightingale is usually very scarce in resources, but some areas are abundant. If you harvest too much of resources, you will become overburdened; your speed will decrease, your run bar will be shorter, and you will get tired faster. That's why you need a backpack.
Crafting a backpack in Nightingale
To craft Simple Pack, which is the first backpack you will create, you need a couple of structures: a Simple Tanning Station and a Simple Sewing Bench. Simple Tanning Station is how we can get Leather from animal Hides. How do we get Hides? By killing animals, usually predators.
To get Leather, just put two Hides in Simple Tanning Station, and after it does its magic, you'll get Leather. The next step is to go to the Simple Sewing Bench and put two Leathers, along with six Plant Fibres, into it. The result is Simple Pack, which increases your carrying weight by 50 pounds, which is a pretty big upgrade.
How to upgrade a backpack in Nightingale
The backpack we created is a common item, and it's marked white in your inventory. To upgrade it, you will need a Simple Upgrade Bench, which will improve your items with an Uncommon upgrade. All you have to do is put your Backpack in the upgrade bench and add 40 T1 Essence.
This upgrade is costly, but it will give you a big capacity increase. Namely, your backpack can now take 90 pounds instead of 50. The higher levels of upgrades go by the same principle, just with more advanced machinery and resources.
