One of Nintendo's most popular new IPs in recent years has been Splatoon. This only shooter lets eight players compete to cover a stage in ink while hunting enemy combatants with various weapons and abilities. One thing everyone is asking is if Splatoon 3 has a single player mode. Well, we have the details below.

Is Splatoon 3 getting a single player mode?

Like the previous Splatoon games, Splatoon 3 will feature a single player story mode as a part of the base game. Titled, Splatoon 3: Return of the Mammalians focuses on the return of mammals in a world where only a few remain.

Story mode is perfect for those learning the game's intricacies and getting used to the controls. Get through many stages, dodge obstacles, and more! With the squid and octopus races occupying most of the Splatoon world, it will be interesting to see how the story mode weaves these creatures into the Splatoon world.

Apart from a fresh new story mode, players can expect more of the classic online Splatfests that have become synonymous with Splatoon since its inception and various gameplay improvements.
