Similar to its predecessor, players can download a demo that can be transferred into their copy of the game once it is officially available. This will allow you to get a little bit ahead before the release as well as really find out whether or not the gameplay is really for you. Where can you download the Octopath Traveler 2 demo?

The Octopath Traveler 2 demo is available in the Nintendo eShop through your console's dashboard. All you will need to do is type in the name of the game, Octopath Traveler 2, into the search box. Of all the options that will appear, one of these will explicitly say Demo. This is not to be confused with the game itself, as the demo is free, and the actual game will be labeled as the full price. You can download it and get started on your adventure.

What can you do in the demo for Octopath Traveler 2?

The demo for Octopath Traveler 2 will allow players to play through the first three hours of the game. The three hours begin from the moment your save starts, so use your play time wisely! However, once you finish the first chapter of each character's story, you won't be able to proceed to chapter two. The exception to this rule is Osvald, who you will be able to play the first two chapters of. The best part is that all of your save data rolls over to the full game once it releases.
