Best Heroes to pair with Lifeweaver in Overwatch 2

Tons of heroes get better after that Life Grip shield.

Now that Lifeweaver has been shown off in trailer form, Overwatch 2 players can start theory-crafting about what sort of team comps will work well with the new support. Lifeweaver can certainly enable some pretty lethal combos, especially since Life Grip gives the target a bit of invincibility. Players should think about using these heroes when they queue up with a Lifeweaver.

Best Team Comps with Lifeweaver in Overwatch 2

Bastion

Bastion is a hero that often has trouble reaching the high ground. Unless you manage to master the bomb jump combo, he spends most of his time grounded. Lifeweaver can help him in this case, though, since Petal Blossom will propel Bastion into the high ground. He can mow enemies down in turret form with Lifeweaver feeding him Healing Blossoms. This makes for good game synergy, especially on team comps where Mercy is pocketing another hero like Sojourn or Pharah.

D.Va

If D.Va can get on top of a Petal Platform, she can leap off for some nasty D.Va Bombs. D.Va also benefits a lot from a character that can keep her healthy from afar. Lifeweaver can feed her Healing Blossoms from a safe distance when she goes in for dives. If D.Va overextends, Lifeweaver might be able to use Life Grip, which would give D.Va a huge shield as well.

Junkrat

A well-placed Petal Platform could put Junkrat in a position to spam grenades, even if no high ground is readily available. This could be put to good use on maps like Havana or Colosseum with lots of open space. Life Grip would also get Junkrat out of sticky situations.

Torbjorn

The sheer thought of placing a turret on a Petal Platform is pretty terrifying. Grounded team comps may have trouble firing at the turret itself, which means they would be forced to hit the 400 HP platform. While all of this is happening, Torbjorn can be bouncing around with his primary fire, creating heavy pressure.
