What can players expect from the Antarctic Peninsula map?
Antarctic Peninsula is currently drawing many comparisons to Oasis, as the map makeups are similar. One section of Antarctic Peninsula has a central overhang on one side that's almost identical to a structure in Oasis. Similarities aside, Antarctic Peninsula is home to some large areas that make it good for characters like Pharah and Echo to fly around.
This is a control map, meaning that there are sections where teams fight for control. Holding certain parts of the map can be pretty devastating for opponents. For example, whichever team controls that overhang is usually in a good position to milk some clock down. There are other skinny passageways that tanks can easily choke off, making it a great map for tanks like Reinhardt and Sigma.
