Who is Sojourn in Overwatch 2?

Overwatch has built a compelling story over the past few years, and there is one thing that helps to push that story further still: the large and ever-growing cast of characters. One of the characters introduced with Overwatch 2 is known as Sojourn.

Sojourn is the call sign of Commander Vivian Chase, a strong leader with cybernetic abilities. Her Canadian Special Forces unit teamed up with Overwatch during the Omnic Crisis, which is where Jack Morrison, aka Solider 76, discovered that the two of them work well together. This prompted him to reach out to Sojourn about joining Overwatch.

Within Overwatch, she would sometimes run point for agents in the field, and other times she would command the operations. Her biggest priority while at Overwatch was to ensure that all of her agents made it home safely. However, even though she loved Overwatch, she decided to leave it to pursue other opportunities.
