All Map Icons in Pacific Drive and what they mean

It's going to be a bumpy ride!

You will be driving all around the map of Pacific Drive, which is why it's crucial to be familiar with all the icons on it. Familiarizing yourself with each mark will help you avoid unstable areas or dead ends that can lead to trouble. Here are all the details!

Pacific Drive Map Guide - All icons and what they mean

The map contains different icons indicating what the area is, what is present there, how you can get there, etc. Matching these icons to other items and resources in your Logbook will help you track where to find things and get around much easier. Here's a full list of everything you will find on the map and what they mean.

All Location Icons

These are all the types of locations you can venture to on your travels through the zone. Some anomalies and resources can be found more often in specific places, and they will progressively get more challenging as you get deeper into the zones.

Map Legend

These are the usual icons and figures you will see on your map, depicting spots you can travel to and indicating whether they are escapable.

Auto ShopThe home base where you'll do all your car repairs and unlock new items
Gateway ExitsAvailable gateways at that junction that you can exit from back to the Auto Shop with the right anchor charge
Highway ExitA highway junction in which you can exit from back to the Auto Shop
JunctionsAn area you can drive around and explore
No ExitsA junction with no available gateway exits, can be through-ways or dead ends
HighwaysA quick route through the zone with less stops
RoadsA route connecting and leading through multiple junctions
Remnant GhostAreas where you have previously fallen, and can collect lost loot

Route Analysis

These are the conditions of each junction regarding what will be available to you and what density they will appear in. They will be shown in red, yellow, white, or green colors, indicating their low or high quantity.

Atmospheric ShiftsDetermines how many storms and random conditions will occur
Anomaly DensityDetermines how many anomalies will appear at this location
Radiation DensityDetermines how much radiation is present at this location
Zone StormDetermines how much the storm affects this location
Fuel DensityDetermines how much fuel can be found at this location
Vehicle DensityDetermines how many vehicles can be found at this location
Building DensityDetermines how many buildings are present at this location
Resource DensityDetermines how many resources are available at this location

Hazard Types

These refer to what types of anomalies or obstacles you will encounter while on a run. Knowing what type of damage you might face can help you prepare your car ahead of time and protect against it more efficiently.

ElectricalDeals electricity damage that can drain battery, short out headlights or make parts become charged
PiercingDeals piercing damage, capable of flattening tires or causing blow outs

StrangeDeals some radiation damage and sabotaging movement or items

Anchor Types

The anchors are one of the most essential icons to pay attention to for each junction. Since you need energy to unlock new recipes and fabricate blueprints, you will want to know each type of energy you can get and where to get it.

Stable Energy
Unstable Energy
Corrupted Energy

You'll also want to pay close attention to every condition that can be present at the junction since they will determine obstacles you may run into as well. If you're looking for an easy run, stick to outer zone areas where the storm is less catastrophic.
