How to get and use the Anchor Energy Converter in Pacific Drive

My tendency to hoard Anchors has proven useful.

There are plenty of battery upgrades you can get to make sure that you have enough energy for the trip, but I found that one of the last upgrades is the best. Check out how to get and use the Anchor Energy Converter in Pacific Drive

Pacific Drive Anchor Energy Converter - How to craft and use it

While a lot of the battery upgrades are situational, like the Lightning Rod or a Solar Panel, which I had equipped for a long time, the Pacific Drive Anchor Energy Converter is useful on almost any trip, especially middle and late game. Check out how to craft and use it below.

You can find the Anchor Energy Converter upgrade on the Fabricator under the Battery Tab. You will have to unlock a bunch of other blueprints first before you get to it, but it's definitely worth it.

Pre-requisiteCrafting Materials
- Unlock High-capacity battery
- Advanced Workbench
- Scan all three Anchor types
- Unlock a Side Rack
- Research LIM Chip
- Scrap Metal x8
- Copper Wire x15
- LIM Chip x2

Once you craft it, you will need to place it on a Side rack. I suggest using this as your primary source of battery power while the rest of the Side racks are used for storage.

To use the Anchor Energy Converter, you first have to go on the hunt for some Anchors. It can be any of the three types of energy, though I suggest using the Stable ones for energy as those are easier to get.

Later, as you unlock all upgrades that require Stable energy, you can collect them specifically for the Converter or for the Tinker Station to make it easier to locate and fix car quirks.

When you grab an Anchor, do not put it in the ARC device! If you want to recharge your battery, then you will have to go to the Anchor Energy Converter instead and place it inside the same way as you would for the ARC device. Once you do, the Converter will absorb the power and recharge your car so that you can be on your way.
