How to get LIM Magnets in Pacific Drive

Where to find LIM Magnets in Pacific Drive

Lim Magnets are a necessary material that will help you get better tools, such as the Magnet Hammer, which you will need to farm the Olympium fragments. Check out where to find Lim Magnets in Pacific Drive.

For starters, you can only find Lim Magnets in the Deep Zone, in the Smokestacks and Red Spires Junctions. You won't be able to find them in trunks or backpacks, nor by scrapping specific resources. To get these Magnets, you will have to find the LIM Magnetizer.

The LIM Magnetizer is a device that looks similar to the Transmuter, so you might confuse it as such. However, the LIM Magnetizer will only ever give you LIM Magnets in exchange for scrap, while a Transmuter can give you a variety of different things.

Unlike the Transmuter, which is usually found in the ARDA Towers and trailers, the LIM Magnetizer will be outside in the environment instead. This can be a bit dangerous since you are exposed to all Anomalies that are roaming outside. Just look around before you start using the device and you should be good. Unless the annoying Bubblegum Buddy shows up, then nothing in your inventory is safe.

You can notice the device by its blue glow in the darkness, or if you are using the Resource Radar, you will see it as a magnet icon once you scan the area. When you find it, take out all of the metal scraps that you have in the car and head for the device.

Press the interact button, and it will open up a Magnetize box for you. Put in all of the metal scrap you want to turn into magnets. For every three metal scrap, you will get one LIM Magnet. If you want to farm for the magnets, I suggest prepacking scrap or using the Scrapper on all cars you encounter along the way.
