Top 10 Mining Pals in Palworld

Mining efficiency in Palworld hinges on choosing the right Pals. While basic Pals like Cattiva and Rushoar are good for starting miners, advanced Pals with higher Mining levels are essential for gathering more valuable resources.

Remember that some Pals may not be accessible when you're at lower levels. I personally encountered this challenge when I initially began playing the game. To address this issue, I've included particular Pals that become attainable as you progress through various stages of the game.

Astegon

Astegon stands out as the premier mining Pal, boasting a Mining Level of 4. This dark/dragon-type Pal not only excels in mining but also aids in handiwork, making it a powerhouse in resource gathering and base building. To obtain it, travel to the Wildlife Sanctuary 3 island far up north.

Digtoise

Digtoise, a ground-type Pal, is perfect for early gameplay. With a Mining Level of 3 and found in the desert, it's a solid choice for beginners needing a reliable miner. This Pal can be commonly found all over the Dessicated Dessert area far in the north.

Anubis

Anubis is the best all-rounder for mining. With Mining Level 3 and additional skills in Handiwork and Transporting, it's an invaluable addition to any base. To catch this elusive Pal, travel to the Twilight Dunes.

Reptyro

Reptyro, a fire/ground-type Pal, is notable for its Mining Level 3. Found near volcanoes, it's a great option for players ready to venture into more hazardous areas. Since this is a type of fiery Pal, look for it among the sizzling rocks of Mount Obsidian.

Ice Reptyro

Similar to Reptyro but with cooling abilities, Ice Reptyro is another level 3 mining Pal, ideal for players in colder biomes. You can find this cool Pal in the Astral Mountains region.

Menasting

Menasting, a dark/ground-type Pal, is not just a miner but also a lumberjack, making it a versatile choice. To capture this rare Pal, go to the Wildlife Sanctuary number 2.

Dumud

Dumud, a water-type Pal with a Mining Level of 2, is found in the northern desert, making it a great mid-game mining option. You can find it in two locations: the southern area of Mount Obsidian, and in the Twilight Dunes.

Penking

Penking, a water/ice-type Pal, also has a Mining Level of 2. Obtainable from a dungeon, it brings additional camp skills, enhancing its utility. To capture this Pal, travel to the northern are of the Windswept Hills.

Tombat

Tombat is an early-game find, perfect for players starting their mining journey. Its additional gathering and transporting skills extend its usefulness beyond mining. This pal can commonly be found all across Eastern Wild Island and Marsh island, but I've came across it in various areas around Windswept Hills and Sea Breeze Archipelago as well.
