Is Palworld coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5?

Palworld has a release date and is included in Game Pass, meaning Sony fans may feel left out. Read below to discover if Palworld is playable on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Will Palworld be on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5?

The answer is no. Palworld will not launch on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5, and developer Pocketpair has stated in an FAQ on Steam they do not have plans at the moment to release their monster-collecting game on PlayStation. However, they have left this open by saying they may consider it during development.

With Palworld launching day one on Game Pass for Xbox and PC, it is possible Microsoft acquired an exclusivity deal to keep the game on their platforms. Neither Microsoft nor Pocketpair have stated this, but sometimes, these deals happen behind the scenes. While this may be the case, Pocketpair may have simply developed the game for Xbox and PC and focused on this rather than another console.

Palworld is being released in early access and will receive periodic updates throughout its life. It's possible an update will see the title released on PlayStation consoles, but there is no guarantee. For now, you'll have to enjoy the game on PC or Xbox if you wish to play when it releases.
