How to unlock the Quick Fingers achievement in Pentiment

Spin the wool to unlock some juicy, sixteenth-century gossip.

There's nothing like spinning some yarns with the gals, especially when there's a murderer on the loose. On the second day in Act One of Pentiment, you can help Heddy and the townswomen draft wool from the recently shorn sheep. Should you accept, you'll find yourself in a position to overhear the town's dirtiest secrets while picking up a new craft simultaneously. Here's how you can do it.

How to spin wool in Pentiment

Once you have some free time on the second day, go to Heddy and Johan Bauer's farm. Heddy should be outside spinning wool. Talk to her, and she'll mention that she's planning to host a spinning bee to deal with the surplus of fiber. She'll also ask if you'd like to participate in the activity.

If you accept Heddy's offer, you'll need to speak to Johan. He'll tell you that it's not appropriate for Andreas to be in the same room as the women because Andreas is unmarried, but Andreas is free to hang out by the window and chat with everyone.

Once you've talked through the window for a while, Heddy will give you a spool of wool to spin. To spin the wool, you'll need to draft three times and then spin three times before collecting. The hand option for either draft or spin will flash, depending on which movement you need to take.

Andreas will slow down every time he makes a mistake. You'll need to spin wool quickly to get the Quick Fingers achievement. Simply remember that you need to do each action three times before collecting, and you'll be in great shape.
