Most Common Ghost Types List - Phasmophobia

Banshee

The Banshee is my go-to ghost, as I had the "pleasure" of encountering this frightening creature the most. You would think that would be enough to get used to it, but no. It was terrifying every time. At least I learned how to identify a Banshee in Phasmophobia.

Phantom

The Phantom in Phasmophobia is an entity capable of possessing humans, exuding a vicious and horrifying presence that can diminish your Sanity quickly. To successfully identify the Phantom, learn more about its strengths and weaknesses.

Revenant Ghost

The Revenant is one of the fastest ghosts, which makes it even more scary. This spirit is quick but will slow down if you're hidden. So use "you can't run, but you can hide" logic, and you might survive. But surviving is not enough if you don't know how to identify a Revenant in Phasmophobia.

Wraith

The Wraith is arguably the most dangerous ghost in Phasmophobia, so it's only fitting that it's also one of the monsters you'll see meet the most. As if that wasn't enough, this evil being can also fly and teleport. Luckily, you won't have a problem identifying the Wraith if you know its strengths and weaknesses.

Yurei

The Yurei is one of the ghosts I've encountered the most in Phasmophobia. You'd better run if you notice freezing temperatures, as that's the calling card of our unfriendly neighborhood ghost, the Yurei. This unnatural creature can drain your Sanity quickly, adding to the already scary atmosphere. To save your sanity, you should know how to identify a Yurei in Phasmophobia.

Which Ghost is identified most often in Phasmophobia?

Interestingly, players have different experiences regarding the most common ghost types in Phasmophobia. The developers have created an intriguing system where you'll meet most creatures if you play the game long enough. As for which ghost is the least common, for most players, the Shade appears to be the rarest.
