How to complete Primitive Challenge - Phasmophobia

Let's learn how to complete the Primitive Challenge in Phasmophobia. Honestly, it's a tough one, but luckily, it's not as bad as the No Evidence challenge. First, this challenge can only be done at number 10 Ridgeview Court. This is a small map, which makes this challenge a little easier, considering how difficult it is with the equipment restrictions.

All of the electronic equipment has short-circuited, which means that your van will look a little empty this week. Here is every item you can bring in for this challenge.

  • Matches
  • Firelight
  • Incense
  • Salt
  • Crucifix
  • Thermometer
  • UV Light
  • Ghost Writing Book

To complete this challenge, you'll need to guess the ghost correctly three times. Once you do, you'll get $5,000, so you should definitely try to get the reward. There is no penalty for failing the challenge, so you can do it as many times as you want.

In the Phasmophobia Primitive Challenge this week, all of your electronic equipment has somehow short-circuited, so you will have to make do with only a few ways to get evidence. Here are the rules of the challenge:

  • You start the challenge at 100 sanity, but there is no sanity medication.
  • You have five minutes to set up (meaning no haunts).
  • All monitors in the van work.
  • There is no power in the house since the breaker is broken.
  • All three pieces of evidence are obtainable.

Tips & Tricks for Primitive - Phasmophobia Weekly Challenge

Did I first walk in with the Firelight because I wanted to recreate a Victorian woman going through a house in the night looking for what's making that weird sound? Maybe. But the Firelight is also useful for keeping your Sanity from dropping as well as figuring out if the ghost is nearby since they will blow out the candles. Here are other tips and tricks for the Phasmophobia Primitive challenge.

  • Check for fingerprints with the UV light and use it as your light source.
  • You can get the freezing temperature evidence through the thermometer and if you see your own breath.
  • If the book is thrown, but there is no ghost writing in it, you can rule it out as evidence.
  • If the Firelight is blown out three times and there is no hunt, then you can rule out the Onryo since it has to hunt after blowing out the candle three times.
  • If you get a lot of spikes on the Total Activity screen, then you can probably guess EMF 5 activity.
  • Listen to the speed of the ghost during the hunt, when your sanity is low, etc.
  • If there are steps in the salt, then you can rule out the Wraith.
  • Use the Ouija board to start a ghost hunt and get EMF readings.
