Early into the game, a young girl in Jubilife Village will approach you with a request: find 107 wisps scattered throughout the Hisui region. Apparently, this will help seal the “being who brought calamities.” She’s actually referring to Spiritomb, which you need to capture if you want to complete the Pokédex and meet Arceus.
But 107 is a big number and Hisui is not a small place. This guide will help you complete the request.
How to collect wisps fast
- Gather them at night. This way, you’ll be able to see the wisps from afar. If you wisp hunt during the day, you have to be right beside the wisp’s location for it to appear on screen.
- Wait until you have Braviary. Do not attempt to complete this quest without flying.
- Use the goal icon (represented by a flag) on your map. Pin the flag on the wisps’ locations that we’ll be showing you below. The goal icon will give you a guidance marker, similar to requests and missions, that will allow you see how close you are to your destination.
All wisp locations in Jubilife Village
Collecting the wisps in the village is very easy. Just go to the places marked by a star on our map. To reach the wisp located in the middle of the houses, you’ll have to enter the gap on the side of the village entrance. There are six wisps in this area.

All wisp locations in Obsidian Fieldlands
Every wisp on this map can be flown to. There are no hidden crevices what-so-ever. Such is the perk of being a flat, fieldland map. There are 20 wisps in this area.
All wisp locations in Crimson Mirelands
Much like Obsidian Fieldlands, you can reach the wisps in Crimson Mirelands by flying around on Braviary. There are 20 wisps in this area.
All wisp locations in Cobalt Coastlands
Many wisps on Cobalt Coastlands are either located on an elevated piece of land or an island. In fact, you may have already seen a few by surfing on Basculegion. There are 20 wisps in this area.
All wisp locations in Coronet Highlands
Coronet Highlands is arguably the most difficult map to navigate. As its name implies, everywhere is surrounded by cliffs. Fly on Braviary to reach your destinations. If you get blocked by a cliff, climb with Sneasler and take off again from higher ground. There are 20 wisps in this area.
By the way, there’s one indoor wisp inside Ancient Quarry (marked with a Pokéball on our map). It’s the place Warden Ingo took you into when he led you to Sneasler. All other wisps are outdoors.
All wisp locations in Alabaster Icelands
To navigate Alabaster Icelands quickly, always take off from higher ground. Icepeak Arena is a good fast travel point to start on. Like the others, there are 20 wisps in this area.

There are two wisps you can’t reach just by flying. The first is north of Icepeak Camp (marked by a Pokéball on our map). The wisp is in a cave blocked by a huge boulder. To break it, send out a Pokémon that can learn Rock Smash, such as Decidueye, Graveler, and Lucario. They don’t need to have Rock Smash in their move pool.
The second one is located south of Avalugg’s Legacy (marked with a crystal on our map). The wisp is located underground. You’ll have to enter one of the many huge holes on the ground around the area. There’s a network of tunnels underneath them. The room you’re looking for has a Zorua in it.
After you’ve collected all 106 wisps, go back to the little girl in the village to report your findings. She will give you the last wisp at Crimson Mirelands.
