Can you change a Pokémon’s Nature in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?

To optimize your Pokémon's potential.

Nature in Pokémon Legends: Arceus determines what Pokémon stats grow faster and which ones grow slower (by 10%). For example, an Adamant Pokémon will have its Attack increased in exchange for a slower Sp. Attack growth. Pokémon that don’t need high Sp. Attack, like Garchomp, are better off Adamant.

Every Pokémon caught already has a fixed nature, so you can't change it. You can, however, change what stats grow faster and slower by giving them Mints. For instance, if you had a Jolly Mint, you could have a Pokémon’s Speed grow faster and its Sp. Attack grow slower.

The original nature that Pokémon came with (and you can check this on the last tab in the Pokémon’s summary) will not change.

Mints can be farmed in Jubilife Village for P10,000. You need to accomplish Request #60 Help Wanted: Rock Smashing in the Fields before the option becomes available, though. Some requests like #72 will also have Mints as their reward. However, farming is still the fastest way to get them.

You can’t manipulate what Mints you harvest, so you have to try again and again until you get the one that will give you the stat changes you want.

If you’re short on cash, break the sparkling rocks you find during your expeditions. Those usually have Stardust in them, which you can sell for a lot of money to the general store. Progressing on your Pokédex will also give you money rewards after each report. The higher your Star Rank is, the more money you get.
