How to change Rotom’s form in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Rotom Heat/Wash in every game makes things a lot easier.

Rotom is a unique Electric/Ghost type Pokémon that can possess appliances and change into one of five forms: Rotom Heat, Rotom Wash, Rotom Frost, Rotom Fan, and Rotom Mow. But in a very old era like Hisui, do appliances even exist for Rotom to possess? The answer—surprisingly—is yes.

Very occasionally, Ginter, the male Ginko Guild member stationed in front of the Galaxy Expedition Team building will sell mechanical wares. They’re very expensive (the price starts at P20,000) but they’re appliances that Rotom can possess, allowing it to change forms. Don’t ask where they came from because the Ginko Guild member doesn’t know, either.

Ginter’s selection is random and will change every after a couple of expeditions. Remember to check his stuff out whenever you’re in the village.

There are five mechanical wares:

  • Mechanical Box (turns Rotom into Rotom Heat)
  • Mechanical Tub (turns Rotom into Rotom Wash)
  • Mechanical Cabinet (turns Rotom into Rotom Frost)
  • Mechanical Pinwheel (turns Rotom into Rotom Fan)
  • Mechanical Circular Saw (turns Rotom into Rotom Mow)

The mechanical wares will appear in your house when bought. You can change your Rotom’s form anytime by investigating one of them. They can be used more than once.
