How to complete the Big Buizel, Little Buizel request in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

The bigger the Buizel, the better!

Like many open-world exploration games, Pokémon Legends: Arceus has a seemingly never-ending list of fun and diverse Requests, or side-quests, for you to complete. These quests can yield some pretty nifty rewards, such as shops offering new items, and quite a few are even tied to fulfilling Research Tasks. During one entertaining Request, in particular, you'll be asked to compare the sizes of a couple of adorable, water-loving Pokémon—Big Buizel, Little Buizel.

To take part in this Request, first, you'll want to head over to Jubilife's Southern gate and speak with the guard, Dorian. He's curious about the differences between his Buizel buddy and the bigger varieties found in the wild, so he'll task you with catching a large Buizel specimen for comparison. These feisty water weasels can typically be found lounging around the riverbanks in Obsidian Fields, meaning it's time for you to head to the Fieldlands Camp.

Buizel can be found near bodies of water in Horseshoe Plains, Windswept Run, and Worn Bridge areas of Obsidian Fields. Similar to Shinx, Buizel is aggressive in nature, meaning you're in for a battle if it notices you approaching. This overly confident Pokémon is a Water-Type and prefers to wield Water-Type moves, such as Aqua Jet, so you'll have the advantage in combat as long you include an Electric-Type or two on your team.

Dorian is searching for one that is two feet and eight inches tall (2'8") specifically, so be sure to check the height of wild Buizel by using focusing on them and choosing Check Summary. After catching one that meets Dorian's height requirements, make your way back over to Jubilife and speak with him once again. Give him the large Buizel you've caught to complete this Request, earning five Oran Berries and one Experience Candy Small in the process.
