Pokémon Legends: Arceus takes place in Hisui, home to many powerful and unique Pokémon. There are many new evolution methods and some that remain the same. One of these is the Psychic-type Pokémon Kadabra and its evolution method into Alakazam.

How to get Alakazam in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

You can evolve Kadabra in one of two ways. The first is the classic method of trading your Kadabra to a friend and then having them trade it back. The second is to use a new item called the Linking Cord. Use this item like an Evolution Stone on your Kadabra, and it will evolve into Alakazam.

Alakazam is an amazing Pokémon, boasting great Speed and Special Attack as well as a good spread of moves. If you don't have anyone who can trade your Kadabra, you can purchase a Linking Cords at the Trading Post in Jubilife Village. It will cost you 1,000 Merit Points, which you can get by finding Lost Satchels.

Alakazam is an excellent addition to any team, so if you want one, you will need to use one of the above methods to evolve your Kadabra. Happy trading or happy Merit Point hunting!
