How to raise Friendship in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Pokémon Legends: Arceus introduces many new mechanics and changes to the Pokémon series, but it does retain some older ones. One mechanic that players will be familiar with is Friendship and Friendship Evolution. Those new to the series may be wondering how to increase Friendship in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

How to Raise Friendship in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

There are a couple of different ways. We have compiled a list of these methods below.

• Win battles with your Pokémon
• Use them to gather resources in the overworld
• Give them EXP candies
• Keep them healthy by healing them and curing status ailments

Using the above methods will increase your Pokémon's Friendship level and let you get Friendship Evolutions faster. If you let your Pokémon faint, stay at low health, or remain afflicted by a status ailment, their Friendship level will not increase.

There are many Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus that evolve through a high Friendship level. You can check your Pokémon's Friendship with the Friendship Checker after completing Request 28.
