How to sneak up on Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Pokémon Legends: Arceus' open-world gameplay changes many things about the Pokémon formula. Players can now approach Pokémon in ways they couldn't before, thanks to the overworld catching mechanic introduced. One of the best ways to catch Pokémon is to sneak up on them, which may leave players wondering how to do this.

To sneak up on Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, press B to go into a crouch. This will work best if the Pokémon cannot see you, so approach it from behind or use tall grass to hide in. Sneaking is a useful mechanic to catch Pokémon and avoid being spotted by hostile Pokémon.
