Catching and training Pokémon is fun, but character customization is another crucial part of the game. And aside from skin color, eye color, and clothing, you’re also allowed to change hairstyles. But the selection you start out with is surprisingly limited.
More hairstyles are added in Pokémon Legends: Arceus three times:
- After you’ve saved Lililgant from its frenzied state in Crimson Mirelands
- After Request #59 Misdreavus the Hairstyle Muse
- After Request #75 Kirlia the Hairstyle Muse

You can change hairstyles by talking to the hairdresser and later on, Arezu, in Jubilife Village.
Two of the above requests are from Arezu. She will take inspiration from the Pokémon you show her and add new hairstyles you can choose from. Requests #59 and #75 automatically unlock as you progress through the story.
You always need to pay for P500 whenever you want a hairstyle change. Additionally, if you choose to keep the Survey Corps style, you can’t wear any head accessories.
More clothes will also be added to the clothier by doing requests for Anthe.
