What is the easiest Alpha Pokémon to catch in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?

Alpha Pokémon are one of the new features present in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. These are huge and aggressive creatures that aren't afraid to target you in the wild. They are also incredibly powerful, so catching them is a must when playing.

The weakest alpha Pokémon in the game is none other than Magikarp. This alpha only knows the move Splash, making him unthreatening in both the overworld and in battle. He can't harm you due to this in battle, so as soon as you get Basculegion, you can get alpha Magikarp.

Alpha Magikarp can be found around the location shown on the map below, directly below where the Gyrados is flying around in the Obsidian Fieldlands.

To easily capture Magikarp bring in an electric or grass-type Pokémon to fight it. Don't worry if you are several underleveled, hitting it with a supereffective attack will still whittle its health down quickly. When its health is in the red, go ahead and throw a Poke Ball, you should catch it with little to no resistance.
