When does Cherrim learn Petal Dance in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?

Because there's no way you're going to be able to evolve that many Cherubis to complete Cherrim's dex entry.

Whether you’re looking to do request # 17, To Bloom or Not to Bloom, or are simply on a mission to complete all research tasks for Cherrim, you’re going to want it to use Petal Dance in battle at some point. But Cherrim doesn’t learn this move once it evolves and neither can it be learned from the Dojo.

Cherrim naturally learns Petal Dance at level 47. It’s the very last move it can learn upon leveling up. It’s a powerful move that Cherrim fixates on when used, though its accuracy is not perfect. Use it in Strong Style for the power and accuracy boost.

Cherrim’s highest stat is its Sp. Attack, which is ideal for Petal Dance. Cherubi can also learn Petal Dance at level 47. In fact, Cherubi and Cherrim share the same move pool.

If you simply want to complete request #17, we recommend forgetting about the mission until the end of the game. Cherubi, Cherrim’s pre-evolved form, drops from trees—and very rarely at that. There’s a chance that you could stumble upon one while you’re on an expedition, however.
