Where to find Cresselia in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Confirmed: Cresselia is just a flying croissant.

Cresselia can be found after beating the main story of Pokémon Legends: Arceus. It's part of a longer post-game quest to collect all of the plates, so don't worry about somehow missing the mission for it. For reference, Mission 23: The Plate of Moonview Arena is the name of Cresselia's mission.

You'll find Cresselia inside of the Moonview Arena in the Coronet Highlands. You may remember that as the location where you beat the lord Electrode.

How to catch Cresselia

Cresselia will try to stop you from approaching it, reversing your controls at the start of the encounter. Once you're close enough, the control reversion will stop and you'll be able to move as you want again.

After getting close enough, you just need to toss one of your Pokémon at Cresselia twice: once to break its forcefield and once to actually start a battle.

The flying croissant itself is a level 70 Psychic-type Pokémon. Dark, Bug, and Ghost-type moves will be the ones to use to drop its HP quickly, but take care not to overdo it. Paralysis and Drowziness are both great statuses to inflict if you can since they'll make Cresselia easier to catch.

Don't worry if you defeat Cresselia by accident. You'll get as many chances as you need to catch the Lunar Duo Pokémon. You'll have to redo your initial approach on each attempt.
