Where to find Porygon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

The Normal Pokémon with a lot of potential.

Porygon is a Normal-type Pokémon with low stats all around. But when you use either an Upgrade or Dubious Disc on it, it evolves into Porygon2 or PorygonZ—some of the best Normal types in the game. Here’s where to find one in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Porygon will often appear during Distortions in Crimson Mirelands. They’re not very hard to catch; even a Pokéball will work on them.

Distortions will start appearing once you’ve reached a two-star rank and when you can enter Crimson Mirelands. Distortions appear randomly (especially if you’ve been in the area for a while) and will not fully form until five minutes after the “A space-time distortion seems to be forming!” notification appears.

Remember, don’t close the game when you see one. It’ll disappear when you soft reset.

You can purchase an Upgrade for 1,000 Merit Points and a Dubious Disc for 1,400 Merit Points in the Item Exchange at Jubilife Village. However, these evolution items also sometimes drop in Distortions. So be sure to check the entire field!
