The Terrarium in Blueberry Academy offers plenty of opportunities for shiny hunting. Not every shiny sprite in The Indigo Disk from Pokémon Scarlet & Violet stands out, though. If you're going to shiny hunt, you're going to want to prioritize these next 11 Pokémon.
What are the best Pokémon to shiny hunt in The Indigo Disk?
11. Rampardos
Both fossils from Sinnoh made it into The Indigo Disk, but Rampardos definitely has the better shiny. Instead of a blue head and accents, shiny Rampardos gets a red coloring. Its pre-evolution, Cranidos, can be found in the Canyon Biome. That only goes for Scarlet players, though, since it's a version exclusive.
10. Zangoose
Shiny Zangoose still has its signature white fur; it just trades in a red stripe for a light blue one. That being said, it's one of the easier ones to find (I spotted a couple shiny Zangoose already). Trainers can find Zangoose in the Costal Biome.
9. Krookodile
Shiny Krookodile basically takes all of the black stripes that it usually has and turns it into gold. Although its a small change, it gives Krookodile a more rustic, earth look. Krookodile evolves from Sandile, which is found in the Savanah Biome.

8. Alcremie
It's true that a Pokémon based on cake frosting should probably be white. Alcremie still has a very nice shiny sprite, though, sporting a charcoal gray. Alcremie evolves from Milcery, which can be found in the Polar Biome.
7. Flygon
At first glance, it may seem like not much is happening with Flygon's shiny. It actually gets several color swaps, though. Its forehead and tail become a light blue, and its red accents turn orange. Flygon evolves from Trapinch, which can be seen all over the Savanah Biome.
6. Galarian Slowbro
Galarian Slowpoke sticks like a sore thumb, sporting a yellow coat instead of a typical pink one. As it turns out, its evolution in Galarian Slowbro also has a great shiny sprite with a peach coat. The Galarian Slowpoke line can be found along the Coastal Biome.
5. Araquanid
Araquanid is generally an intense Pokémon, and its shiny is no different. The big difference with its shiny is that its legs turn to a dark purple. Araquanid evolved from Dewpider, which likes to hang around by lakes in the Savanah Biome.

4. Bruxish
Bruxish honestly gets one of the most creative shiny sprites in the game. All of its colors swap to an yellow, red and green mix that give the Pokémon a vibrant design. Bruxish, like Dewpider, hangs out in lakes in the Savanah Biome.
3. Hydrapple
A new evolution for Dipplin was a welcome surprise that came with The Indigo Disk DLC. While the red that comes with Hydrapple's body already looks great, even better is its shiny sprite, which has Hydrapple coming out of a golden apple. The only way to get Hydrapple is to catch a Dipplin (from Kitikami) and teach it the move Dragon Cheer (given after beating Drayton in the Polar Biome).
2. Altaria
It's really hard to miss shiny Altaria. Instead of its classic light blue skin, shiny Altaria has a bright yellow skin that's really surprising to find behind its cloud wings. Altaria evolves from Swablu, which is found around the Savanah Biome.
1. Metagross
Metagross always seems to be a heavily shiny hunted Pokémon, and for good reason. The white skin gives its metallic design an extra dimension that makes it look really cool. Unfortunately, Metagross evolves from Beldum, which has a low catch rate. You can find it within Chargestone Cave, though; just bring lots of Ultra Balls.
