Copperajah is a Pure Steel Type Pokémon with a high HP and Attack stat in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. It uses high Base Power moves to deal a lot of damage if it gets the chance but is very slow in terms of Speed. What are the best counters to Copperajah in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?

Skeledirge, Garchomp, and Hippowdon are the best Copperajah counters. All three of these Pokémon have access to moves that deal super effective damage and have high Defense to mitigate any damage Copperajah deals in return. Skeledirge, in particular, can make use of Torch Song to deal damage and increase its Special Attack in the same turn to guarantee taking out Copperajah in at least two turns.
