The Ghost Type is a strong offensive Typing in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, as many Types won't resist Ghost attacks. It will also deal super effective damage to both Psychic and other Ghost Types. While there aren't many Ghost Type attacks, most are quite powerful with a high Base Power. Best Pokémon Types to Counter Ghost Type Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
Ghost Types are weak to Dark and Ghost Type attacks and are immune to Fighting and Normal Type attacks. Ghost does half damage against Dark Types, making the best counter to Ghost Types either Dark Types that won't take much damage or Normal Types that are immune to Ghost moves entirely. Many Ghost Pokémon will have Fighting Type moves to counter Normal and Dark Types as well, but a few Pokémon can get around this.
Lokix is a Bug/Dark Type making it take reduced damage from Ghost moves and not take super effective damage from Fighting moves. Some more good counters are the Normal/Flying Type Pokémon like Squawkabilly and Staraptor that will be immune to Ghost attacks without taking too much damage from Fighting moves.

All Ghost Type Pokémon Strengths in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
Ghost is super effective against Ghost and Psychic Type Pokémon and usually possesses Fighting and Fairy moves. Psychic Type Pokémon will tend to learn Ghost and Dark moves themselves to counter the Ghost Types that are super effective against them. Because so few Types resist Ghost attacks, it is very strong offensively and can deal a lot of damage without relying on super-effective attacks.
