How to counter Wattrel and Kilowattel in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Wattrel and Kilowattrel are only weak to Ice and Rock-type Pokémon, which is problematic given these types typically have low Speed. Kilowattrel, in particular, has incredible Speed and great Special Attack. This makes it hard for Ice and Rock-type Pokémon to outspeed it, especially if it can get off Tailwind.

Weavile is a great counter to Wattrel and Kilowattrel, though you will need to invest in its Speed as they have the same. Alternatively, you can use a bulky Pokémon with high Special Defense and tank Kilowattrel's attack before counter-attacking. Tyranitar, Crygonal, Garganacl, and Coalossal are good options against Kilowattrel in this regard.
