I know the feeling of never wanting to use a Master Ball in a game, but that totally changes if I can have hundreds of them. Here’s how you can farm Master Balls in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet… but only if you bought the DLC!
How to get infinite Master Balls in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
Again, you can only farm Master Balls in The Indigo Disk DLC. The key is a League Club item called an Item Printer. It can be added to the club room by donating BP to the Science Club.
For this method to work, you need to upgrade the Item Printer at least twice (to Ultra Ball tier). This will unlock the Pokéball Lotto on the device, which grants you a chance to generate ANY Pokéball, albeit randomly. The Master Ball only has a 1/134 chance of appearing in the Pokéball Lotto, which sounds bad, but think about shiny rates. It’s pretty tame.

Anyways, if you keep using the Item Printer, you can tier it up to Master Ball and get better chances of triggering the Pokéball Lotto.
The materials needed to use the Item Printer can be a bit tedious to farm, but that’s what the ZR button is for. Sick your Pokémon on wild ones and continue to collect ingredients.
Are Master Balls worth it in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?
In our opinion, however, it’s really not worth farming for so many Master Balls unless you’re attached to the design. Defeating a Pokémon during a Tera Raid is a guaranteed capture, and others aren’t so difficult to get with the proper Pokéball for the situation (like a Dive Ball for Water Pokémon).
