Pokémon Scarlet & Violet – Cheat Codes and Glitches

Yes, players can still get infinite Master Balls.

It did not take long for Pokémon fans to find multiple glitches and exploits in Scarlet and Violet. Players who can master these glitches can do everything from getting infinite money to flying at super speed! Fortunately, most of the glitches are easy to do and shouldn't take too much time.

This exploit can be used by any player who has unlocked Battle Mode for Koraidon or Miraidon. To multiply any specific item, trainers should attach that item (most likely the Master Ball) to their legendary. Afterwards, add the legendary to the party through Battle Mode.

From there, with six Pokémon in the party, simply catch another Pokémon. Once caught, the game will ask if the trainer will want to send another Pokémon to the box. Place the cursor on Koraidon or Miraidon and press A and B one after the other very quickly. If done correctly, the player can place the item in the box and press + to summon a new legendary with the duplicated item attatched.

Trainers can glide to high speeds with this glitch. For the best results, trainers will want to travel to the highest peak on Glaseado Mountain (a travel point will spawn there if previously visited). From there, glide off, press B to go into free fall while tugging the joystick left or right, and then mash B to get back into glide. Every time this is done, the glide will pick up speed. Trainers can get up to super high speeds by just spamming this.

How to do the Backup Save Glitch in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet actually has a backup save function which can come in handy for players who have their game crash for whatever reason. On the title screen, players can press Up, X, and B at the same time to pull up the details on their backup save. These are the same buttons used to cancel a save file on the DS games.

For this glitch, players will need the ingredients for a Peanut Butter Sandwich (Peanut Butter, Butter, and Banana). The Banana can be found in Sure Cans, while the other ingredients as well as sandwich picks can be bought at Artisan Bakery.

To perform the actual glitch, players will need to turn autosave off. Then, travel to the Asado desert, save the game, and pick up the sparkling items that appear on the ground. Players will want to look for a Star Piece having saved beforehand.

Once players find the Star Piece, exit out of the game and load it back up. Players should respawn right in front of the Star Piece that they previously collected. Now, stand a couple places away from the item and spawn a picnic. Place the picnic table so that the basket in the back is placed over the Star Piece.

From there, make the sandwich. If the Pokémon on the team are of alternate genders, they should create eggs after a while. Players can then go AFK for a while, and when they come back, the eggs that normally spawn will actually be Star Pieces which they can sell for loads of money.
