What evolves into Spidops in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Look at this cute crawler.

One of the most exciting parts of Pokémon is finding and catching all the new Pokémon in that game. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet take you to the Paldea region, a lush island crawling with all sorts of Pokémon. One of these is Spidops, a solid Bug-type Pokémon that combines a spider with a spool of thread. If this is ticking all the boxes for you, you may wonder how to get a Spidops or what Pokémon evolves into Spidops in Scarlet and Violet.

How to get Spidops in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

You can get Spidops in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet by evolving Tarountula. This Bug-type Pokémon will evolve at level 15 and become Spidops. With its solid Bug-typing and early evolution, Spidops is a strong Pokémon to use at the start of the game. But as its stats are weaker, even with the right nature, you will likely want to trade it for a stronger Bug-type Pokémon.

Still, even if you don't intend to use Spidops, you will need to catch a Tarountula and evolve it to complete your Pokédex. As you can encounter this Bug-type Pokémon early on, it should be easy to add it to your team or complete your Pokédex. Here is where you can find Tarountula in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet; we found ours on Poco Path.
