Best nature for Croagunk and Toxicroak in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Your opponent's Pokémon  will croak against these guys!

Croagunk and Toxicroak are the only poison and fighting-type Pokémon in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. This unique typing, combined with their good attack and abilities, makes them an excellent choice for any team. But you will want to match them with the best nature to maximize their strengths.

There are two options for Croagunk and Toxicroak's best nature. We've listed these options below, as well as our recommendation.

  • Adamant - (+Attack, -Special Attack)
  • Jolly - (+Speed, -Special Attack)

We recommend the Jolly nature as the best nature for Croagunk and Toxicroak. They have pretty good speed, but the extra boost will let them outspeed Pokémon, which is crucial. Getting to attack first lets Croagunk and Toxicroak take advantage of their high attack.

The Adamant nature is also a good choice as the boost to attack can definitely go a long way towards making Croagunk and Toxicroak hit harder. With this nature, their fighting and poison-type moves will be even more lethal. But both the Jolly and Adamant nature are valid choices as they sacrifice special attack which is their least important stat.
