Can cempasúchill crown Duskull be Shiny in Pokémon Go?

Gotta catch them all!

For two days only, players can catch a cempasúchill crown Duskull in Pokémon Go as part of their Día de Muertos event for 2022. Not only can you find Duskull wearing a beautiful orange flower crown, but you can also expect Dusclops and Dusknoir to be donning the same. For those in-game shiny hunters, you'll be happy to know that you can also find the shiny version of this Pokémon!

Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do to guarantee yourself a shiny version of whatever Pokémon you're looking for. Niantic has limited shiny boosts added to particular events such as Community Days, Safari Zones, or in Legendary Raids. There are also no consumable items that you can use to boost your chances of finding shiny Pokémon.

The best way to raise your chances of finding a shiny cempasúchill crown Duskull would be to hunt for them during the Spotlight Hour. This is an hour-long weekly event in which players are given an improved chance of catching any shiny Pokémon. It runs on Tuesdays from 6 pm to 7 pm local time.

The point of Pokémon Go is to catch every Pokémon that you can, including shiny ones!
