How to get Entei, Raikou, and Suicune in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond

The three legendary beasts!

Between all the exclusive Pokémon in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, perhaps one stark difference is how Brilliant Diamond gets Entei, Raikou, and Suicune, while Shining Pearl gets the three legendary birds of Kanto. And as the proud owner of Brilliant Diamond, you might be wondering how to get a hold of these legendary beasts.

To get Entei, Raikou, and Suicine, you have to visit Ramanas Park near Route 221. You can access Route 221 by Surfing south of Sandgem Town after you get the National Pokédex.

Inside the Ramanas Park building, speak with the shopkeeper nearest to the entrance and she will sell you Slates for Mysterious Gems. Mysterious Gems can be dug in the Grand Underground.

You will need to purchase three copies of the Johto Slates to meet Entei, Raikou, and Suicine. The Johto Slates are only unlocked after you purchase three Discovery Slates and meet Regirock, Registeel, and Regice.

Once you have the Johto Slates, enter Ramanas Park and go into the Johto Cave. Insert the Slates one by one and you will meet Entei, Raikou, and Suicine for a chance to battle and capture them. All three legendaries will have a high chance of appearing with at least three perfect IVs, so they’re pretty good for competitive battling.
