Hydreigon is a Dragon/Dark-type Pokémon and is an evolution of Zweilous and Deino. Hydreigon has a max CP of 3,625 and boasts strong attack, defense, and health stats, making it a great choice for PVP, PVE, and Raid battles. Hydreigon can learn a few different moves as a Dragon and Dark-type. Here are the best moves for battles and Raids.

Best quick attack move for Hydreigon

Hydreigon can learn two different quick attacks: Bite and Dragon Breath. Both quick attacks have identical stats, with 14.4 DPS and 8 EPS. Since Bite is a Dark move, it will be more effective on Ghost and Psychic types. If you are using Hydreigon for overall PVP or PVE battles, Bite is the best move.

Best charged attack move for Hydreigon

Hydreigon can learn Dark Pulse, Flash Cannon, Dragon Pulse, and now, thanks to the Deino Community Day, it can also learn Brutal Swing. The best charged attack for Hydreigon is definitely Brutal Swing. If you were lucky enough to catch a Deino during Community Day and evolve it, you will have one of the best Dark moves in Pokémon GO. However, if you did not get that move, it may be available in a later Community Day expected in December.

If you do not have Brutal Swing, the next best move is Dragon Pulse. However, having a Dark quick attack and a Dragon charged attack may leave you at a disadvantage in battles. Hydreigon can be a great Pokémon to battle with if it has the right moves, so make sure you are keeping Deino candy in case the chance to evolve it to get Brutal Swing comes back around.
