Shiny Pokémon are rare versions of Pokémon in Pokémon go that have modified looks. They are called shiny because they generally add a slight sheen, making them stand out more than the normal versions.
Shiny Rates
Apart from the Pokémon that don't have shiny versions in the game, every Pokémon has a base shiny rate that tells you how often you'll see a shiny version. Cresselia is a relatively common Pokémon, so they don't have to boost their rate. They have a Legendary shiny rate of 1 in 20 (about five percent). So, for every 20 Cresselia you catch, you'll probably only get one shiny version.

How to Get Shiny Cresselia
There is no way to force a Shiny Cresselia to appear. Instead, players must simply play the game to hope to run into one. However, players can use a few tricks to make it easier to find them.
- Plan for a lot of raids. There is a Raid Hour featuring Cresselia on Nov. 17, 2021. Raid Hours don't boost the shiny rate for Pokémon, but they greatly increase the likelihood of seeing them in Raids. It's entirely possible to encounter several Cresselia during the Raid Hour, so there is a very good chance you'll see a shiny version.
- Explore while she's on the roster. Usually, Tier 5 Pokémon hold their position raids for one or two weeks. To improve your chances of getting a shiny version of Cresselia, make yourself available to partake in raids on the days where she is on the roster.
