Pokémon Go Max Pokémon Storage Upgrade: Event Box and Increased Limit!

How else can we be the very best?

Pokémon Go development company Niantic has surprised players with splendid news about the Max Pokémon Storage in the game. The max storage limit has been permanently increased from 4,000 to 4,500, and a special event deal has been put in to the game's shop!

On June 4, 2021, players were given the option to increase the amount of Pokémon in their inventory by 500. This can be done in the game's shop by purchasing the Storage Upgrade for 200 PokéCoins. Each upgrade increases the amount of Pokémon you can have by 50, so you'll have to purchase 10 upgrades (at roughly $2 USD each) to reach the new maximum.

They have also provided us with an Event Box that is essentially a two-for-one deal on Pokémon Storage upgrades. If you purchase this Event Box for 200 PokéCoins, which is available in the Limited Time Only section of the game shop, you'll receive two Pokémon Storage Upgrades instead of one. This deal is only available until June 7, 2021, after which it will be removed from the shop.

This is exciting news for avid Pokémon collectors who are just too attached to their Pokémon to transfer them to Professor Willow!
