While most of the tasks are pretty straightforward, you may have a hard time completing the final task (i.e. finishing three-party challenges). As you may expect, you have to join or host a party in Pokémon GO to complete these challenges.

Here's how you can host a party:

  1. Head to your Trainer profile in the game.
  2. Tap the new tab called Party and hit the Create option.
  3. You will get a code with numbers or a QR code that you can share with up to three Trainers who are near you.
  4. Finally, select Start to host the party.

Follow these steps if you want to join a party:

  1. Go to your Trainer profile in the game.
  2. Select the Party tab that is new.
  3. Choose Join Party. You will need to scan the QR code of the host or enter a code with numbers.
  4. Wait for the host to begin the party! You will go back to the map when the party starts.

After a party is formed, the members will receive a pop-up asking which Party Challenge they want to take on. Party Challenges can be focused on spinning PokéStops, battling in raids, catching Pokémon, and more. Simply complete any three of them to finish the final task of Party Up Timed Research.
