During every Spotlight hour, the Pokémon featured for the week will have a massively increased spawn rate for one hour, which is always at 6pm to 7pm local time. This means that no matter where you are in the world, the Spotlight Hour will always start at 6pm for you.

Along with the increased spawn rate, a special bonus will be available that gives you the chance to earn extra XP, Candies, or Stardust. This bonus applies to all Pokémon, not just the one featured in the Spotlight Hour. For example, if the bonus is 2x Evolution XP, that means that any Pokémon evolved during the event time frame will get you that extra XP.

That's all there is to know about the Spotlight Hours this month!
