Niantic has announced the inclusion of the villainous Team Skull in the popular mobile game. For players that may not have played some of the mainline Pokémon games, Team Skull may be an unfamiliar entity in Pokémon Go. Team Skull is from the Pokémon Sun and Moon games, which take place in the Alola Region.
What is Team Skull doing in Pokémon Go?
The evil Team Skull can be celebrated in the in-game shop. Players can purchase clothing items inspired by the Team and dress up their avatars to match the black-themed clothes that Team Skull is known for. The Avatar items will cost Poké Coins, which players can get by putting their Pokémon on gyms.

It is not clear if Team Skull will play any larger role in Pokémon Go, but it is unlikely since the game's other villain teams haven't made much of an impact. It is likely that Team Go Rocket will remain the main adversary of Pokémon Go players.
