Units in Triangle Strategy are built differently. Each of them have unique skills, terrain advantages, and a variety of uses depending on the situation. Some units work better with others. Others are great for farming coin or items but shouldn’t be taken to main stage battles.

In this guide, we’ll teach you how to use Ezana, the wandering shaman.

We’re not going to lie: Ezana is a huge challenge to use low-leveled. This is because of her low HP—there’s always a chance that she’ll be defeated in one to two normal attacks. But if you grind her to her 20s, you start unlocking the fun skills: Rite of Rain, Rite of Tempests, and Pierce Defense. These three skills make Ezana an excellent support unit.

Rite of Rain is support for her Rite of Lightning skill (or Narve’s Lightning attack). Not only does it increase Lightning damage, but rain also summons puddles. Lightning attacks deal damage to every unit in the same puddle. And you should know that Ezana’s magic attack is very high.

If you’re on map with a lot of archers, Rite of Tempests can save lives. It reduces the accuracy of every archer on the field (including your own, so be careful). Luckily, this barely phases Archibald, the sniper with the highest accuracy in the game. With an upgrade, Archibald also deals more damage during a Tempest, making him more devastating than he already is.

And if your Frederica already doesn’t deal lethal damage, Pierce Defense will ensure that it will. This is Ezana’s passive that decreases an enemy’s magic defense when you deal damage to them.

Finally, once Ezana's Weapon Rank three has been unlocked, you get access to the most powerful spell in the game: Rite of Thunderstorms. For five TPs, Ezana unleashes Lightning damage on every enemy on the map. If you have casted Rite of Rain before it, it's absolutely broken. It can even cause paralysis. If you keep Julio or Medina near, she can charge TPs quicker for near-unlimited use of the skill.

For accessories, it’s best to put Ezana on Magic ones. Never mind her abysmal HP and defenses, just be sure to keep her away from the frontlines!

Class promotions and weapon upgrades

Prioritize weapon potency, magic, and HP upgrades for Ezana. If you have the resources, unlock the upgrades that decreases the TP cost of Rite of Rain and Rite of Tempests as well. As mentioned above, unlock Weapon Rank three and Rite of Thunderstorms as soon as you can. It's devastating!

At Elite Rank, you unlock Ezana’s Rite of Luck skill, which boosts everyone’s crit rate. With high-luck units such as Serenoa in your group, you can be sure that everybody will be dealing critical damage non-stop. She doesn’t need the promotion immediately, but it’s a good skill to have nonetheless.
